Happy New Year, y’all!
There’s just something about flipping the calendar to a brand-new year, isn’t there? It’s like the ultimate “Ctrl+Alt+Delete” for life. All those messy mistakes, procrastination sessions, and goals we meant to tackle last year (Looking at you, Patreon! Oops, haha)—we get to start fresh!
This year, I’m doing something fun, bold, and a little ambitious: I’m sharing one affirmation EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.Yep, 365 bite-sized doses of positivity and intention, Coming in Hot…cue Hollywood Undead music! It’s equal parts exciting and terrifying, but hey, it’ll keep me accountable and make your day just a tiny bit brighter.
And to keep things fresh, each month will have its own theme.
January’s theme? New Beginnings.

Why New Beginnings?
Let’s face it: January practically screams fresh starts. It’s the perfect time to hit reset, refocus, and remind ourselves that it’s okay to not have everything figured out. Here’s the tea: you’re allowed to start over as many times as you need.
Now, new beginnings don’t have to be these grand, movie-worthy moments. (Although if you’ve adopted a puppy or moved to a new city, GO YOU! You’re living your best main-character energy.) Sometimes, it’s the smaller stuff, like choosing to drink water before coffee (still struggling over here) or finally speaking to yourself like you’d talk to a good friend.
This is where affirmations come in. Think of them as tiny seeds of positivity you plant in your mind. With a little patience and care, they grow into reminders of the good, the possible, and the hope you might’ve forgotten along the way.
A Few of My Faves for January
Here are some affirmations I’ll be sprinkling into my stories this month. These are my personal faves, so feel free to steal them!
